Day 1: Drive to Sundarijal (1460m) and Chisapani (2165m)
(1 hour drive and 5-6 hours trek)
You will be picked up from your hotel from where you will take a one-hour trek to the starting point of your trek to Sundarijal. From Sundarijal, your trek will start uphill along a large water pipe descending from the Sundarijal reservoir. After this, you will enter Shivapuri National Park from where you will continue to Mulkharka village. The trail then passes through Tamang village before reaching Chisapani from where you can see magnificent views of Langtang Lirung, Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and Everest. In the evening, you will witness a beautiful sunset over the mountains before spending the night at the lodge.

Day 2: Chisapani to Nagarkot (2175m)
(6-7 hours trek)
After breakfast, the trek continues uphill through lush forest before descending down to Jhula and Chauki Bhanjyang. The trail then crosses several villages and terraced fields before reaching Kattike Bhanjyang. You will need to climb uphill to reach Nagarkot from Kattike Bhanjyang, which offers magnificent views of Kanchenjunga to the east, Dhaulagiri to the west and Everest.

Day 3: Nagarkot to Changu Narayan (1541m) and return to Kathmandu
(3-4 hrs trek and 1 hr drive)
Your final day begins with an early morning wake-up to watch the beautiful sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast, you will drive to Changu Narayan where the trail descends through Telkot. Along the way, you will get a bird’s eye view of Bhaktapur and Kathmandu, and then the Changu Narayan Temple, built in 323 CE. At Changu, you will be met by a vehicle after which you will return to Kathmandu and be transferred to your hotel.
