Поход Кори Данды

Описание:

Sikles Kori Danda Trek is a newly opened trekking route in the Annapurna region. The Kori trek became popular after Ghumante trekkers discovered a hidden gem near the village of Sikles. We can call it an unusual trek because the infrastructure is limited and at the moment everything is simple. We recently hiked up to Kori from Sikles to check out the routes and found that it takes much longer to meet foreign tourists who want a bit of standard, neat and friendly treatment.

Route

Day 1: Arrive Pokhara
From Pokhara we will drive to Sikles village which is about 40 km away. We will have lunch in Sikles village and then drive to Tasa. The trail from Sikles to Sikles hydroelectric power station is downhill and the trail from Sikles hydroelectric power station to Tasa is uphill. The distance from Sikles to Tasa is about 6.1 km and it takes 5-6 hours to cover it.

Day 2: Tasa-Kori Danda (7.3 km)
Kori Danda, where the lodges are located, is at an altitude of 3870 meters and can be reached from Tasa in about 6-7 hours.

Day 3: Enjoy the morning views from the tea house or take a 20 minute walk to see the best views and then follow the same route back to Sikles and drive to Pokhara. This plan is only for Kori Danda but if you want to cover Kapuche Lake then you will need 1 extra night for Khugu Gota.
