The route to Kazan for 2 days

1st day 

Breakfast in the city café 

 Kazan sightseeing tour. The tour includes the most famous sights of Kazan: Kazan Kremlin (Kol Sherif mosque, the Cathedral of Annunciation, Syuyumbike Tower), Old Tatar Settlement, a Tatar village Tugan Avylym in the city center, the oldest mosque Marjani, Kamal theatre, Kaban lake,  Liberty Square,the Kazan University, Peter and Paul Cathedral, wonder-working Kazan icon of Theotokas. 

2 p.m. Lunch in one of the restaurants in Kazan 

After the lunch I would love to offer you a waking tour along the most popular pedestrian street of Kazan - Baumana street, which is also called as Kazan's Arbat. Then I will organize for you a master-class of Tatar cuisine and the best chefs will share with you secrets of cooking the most famous national dishes such as chak-chak, echpochmak, vak belesh, gubadiya, etc. (It can be discussed what exactly you would love to learn how to cook). 

Dinner 

In the evening free time and you can visit Kazan malls such or bowling clubs, restaurants, theatres, exhibitions, museums etc. As optional one more excursion can be arranged "Kazan by night". 

2nd day
10 a.m. - Departure to the Sviyazhsk island.  Sviyazhsk-Island located in the picturesque estuary of the  Sviyaga river on a hill «High Mountain». It is a picturesque place where you will have a chance to become closer to the Russian country side and at the same time you will see a lot of examples of magnificent Orthodox architecture. 

It is a historical and cultural gem of the Republic of Tatarstan. The ancient fortress built in Medieval times during the reign of Ivan the Terrible, served as a military outpost in the Volga region and the place of rest and preparation of military units to march on the impregnable fortress of Kazan. After the capture of Kazan Island-hail continued to live and tell their memories of the best and most serious times. In this city, the spirit of the history and life is felt in every monument, street, back alley. The tour route includes a unique historical monuments: the Cathedral of Holy Virgin, one of the oldest wooden churches of Russia — the Church of the Holy Trinity, the current Assumption Monastery with its 17th century architectural monument, the Museum of Sviyazhsk, Stables and workshops, a walk through the county Sviyazhsk.

After visiting Sviyazhsk island we'll go to the Raifa monastery one more very popular touristic destination in our Republic. This monastery is located in a beautiful forest, thus you will see not only beauty of the Russian orthodox cathedrals and churches but also picturesque scenery of the Russian forest. 

6 p.m. - Returning to Kazan
